FAQ – Tailpipes
Tailpipes
Yes. The FLOW DOWN® tailpipes come with a certificate/test report. This allows you to drive them legally on public roads and they generally do not need to be registered. The documents included with the product are always decisive.
It depends on the vehicle and the variant. Depending on the design, the tailpipes are clamped/attached. For a perfect result, we recommend installation at the FLOW DOWN workshop.
Usually hardly at all. Tailpipes are primarily a visual upgrade. The sound mainly comes from the muffler/exhaust system, not the tailpipe.
FLOW DOWN® professionally installs tailpipes in our workshop in Essen. We check the fit, connection dimensions, and correct positioning in advance, carry out the installation cleanly depending on the type (inserting/clamping or welding), and ensure that everything sits without tension and is visually aligned straight. You can get appointments and availability through our support chat on www.flow-down.com.
The right size depends on the cutout in the rear bumper and the desired look. Larger diameters appear significantly more prominent but must fit the bumper cutout and positioning. FLOW DOWN® helps you choose so that it looks harmonious on the vehicle and fits perfectly.
